Join a free, monthly creative jam
session that will spark and inspire your artistic muse. Bring
your book arts projects, fiber art creations, latest doll making
efforts, your postoid production problems, share new book binding
techniques, or discover a new pop up possibility. This is an
evening of networking and discussion that invites you to showcase
your latest journaling entry or get feedback on your works in
process. Bring pertinent materials, an open mind, and a snack
to share. Sometimes we do an exercise or two to loosen up our
right and left brains. Sometimes we talk 'til we drop.

MEET 'N' GREET CARD SOCIAL
These extraordinary evenings
are devoted to greetings of the card variety. We'll meet selected
artists who will share their designs and demonstrate how their
masterpieces are assembled. Then they will help YOU make take-home
variations of their unique hand crafted greeting card creations.
All materials and tools provided.
DETAILS: The
studio has space for ten card makers on a first-come, first-seated-at-the-work-table
basis. All others are welcome to observe, absorb ideas, and
be inspired.
Chilled juices,
hot tea, and bottled water will be served. Feel free to bring
a small snack to share with the group. The evening will begin
promptly so please plan to be on time!
IF YOU HAVE
greeting card ideas and would like to help fellow card-makers
recreate your designs during one of our gatherings, please contact
Jaki Ernst. Each presenting artist is requested to bring materials
sufficient for 10 persons to recreate one design. The studio
provides space and all necessary tools, equipment, utilities,
and advertising. Our evenings are free, and based on open sharing
of concepts and materials. You're invited and encouraged to
participate as a maker as well as a presenter.
NOTE: Pig Wings & Promises,
the working studio of artist/author Jacqueline Ernst, is open
to everyone interested in sharing and enjoying art and creative
pursuits. Ernst does not accept fees or sales percentages from
the artists she invites to exhibit in her showrooms or participate
in studio events. She is grateful for your appreciation, encourages
your support of the artists and their work., and warmly invites
you to experience your own artistic adventures in the nurturing
atmosphere of her cottage-home workspace.
